Try chess.com or fics.org with the interface Babas Chess interface. Also check out the governing body of chess in your country, in the USA it's US Chess Federation.

I'm not too great at slow chess. Last year I started a game (one move every three days) against the person who taught a chess camp with me, but after about eight moves I couldn't force myself to spend time looking at it.

I'm going to have my horsey move to the front and kind of to the right.
Then the rider guy is going to start throwing shuriken across the board at your front line of minions.
The Shuriken do 10HP of damage for every hour which passes between this post being made and your move.

How about that championship?

I had been following it. It was a twelve game match, but only ten were played. Annad would have had to win the last three games to tie the match and keep the title, but it was over after game 10 was drawn.
