World of Darkness?

Anybody around here play World of Darkness?

So far I've been at it for a good year now.

I'm highly experienced in Vampire: The Requiem and Promethean: The created, and I have passing knowledge in Werewolf: The Forsaken and Mage: The Awakening (I'm actually reading up on the two).

Right now I actually have two play-by-net games going on (sorry, no openings) and I'm designing my own Vampire chronicle on the fictional city of Denton (in it's own not-yet-named fictional state).

Just come here to share game experiences, special preferences, house rules, home brewed material (bloodlines, lodges, merits, etc, etc), and anything else your little heart desires.

My favorite's Vampire: The Masquerade, so I voted for Requiem, though I haven't played that one.

I didn't have much a taste for oWoD.

It was too restrictive and unfriendly of a system.

If anybody gives a damn, I've opened up a game on www.gotexp.com.

I'm running the "Darkness Falls on Denton" chronicle for Vampire the Requiem.

I havn't heard of it till now, but it sounds interesting.

I've heard mixed opinions about WoD.

It sounds like it helped to push roleplaying games in a new, generally deeper way. Much of the stuff before WoD was just fluff I had heard. It got kind of lame near the end I had heard (didn't they kill WoD, and started over with a new line?).

I've heard that the restart is better, but I think I'd want to look for a better opinion on this.


Mind you this is all just second or third hand information.
