Pokemon Nuzlocke Challenge

So I recently got back into Pokemon and discovered something called the "Nuzlocke Challenge", which is a set of self-imposed rules that are meant to make the game more challenging and encourage you to use Pokemon that you wouldn't normally use.

And for some reason a lot of people really enjoy making fanfics or fancomics about their experiences with the Nuzlocke Challenge.

I am currently doing the Nuzlocke Challenge using Pokemon SoulSilver. I will keep this thread updated as I make more progress. I also plan on making a fancomic of my adventures once I have some more material to work with (I have only played it for about an hour so far).

So what do all of you think of the Nuzlocke Challenge? Has anyone on these boards done it before? If you have and you made a fanfic or fancomic about it, I'd love to see it! You can also use this thread to talk about/chronicle/update your own experiences with the Nuzlocke Challenge, because I'd love to hear about that too!
