Final Fantasy III for DS hasn't been released in Australia, so I'm curious if it's worth waiting for. I read about it in Nintendo Gamer, and it sounds alright. I also read somewhere the graphics are in a FFVII style, which puts me off even though I've never played FFVII and seen the graphics first-hand. So, is it worth waiting for, or should I wait until I can get FFXII for PS2 instead?

The NDS has hardware comparable to that of the n64, so it can really only do graphics that are 2D or are of N64/PSX quality.

I would have bought a PSP had there been FF games for it. How can Sony honestly expect the platform to sell without their flagship game? Nintendo has done several Mario games for the NDS and they are developing a Zelda game for it. The PSP could kick the NDSs ass if they just had better games. The PSP has the same exact specs performance wise as the PS2.

Heh, I thought you meant to say FFXIII. It really depends.. by the time FFIII comes out in AUS, FFXII might be worth the same price (used) lol. I like FFXII, haven't played FFIII. I'd go for FFXII just because it's a PS2 game.

I posted in your other topic before seeing this one, lol.
So you're an Aussie like me? Cool. I can understand the release dates easier, lol.
Well it's not out yet, and I don't know when it will be out. I highly recommend importing. (if you don't know, that's buying the game from overseas)
Ebay is my personal favorite method. And DS games are region-free, so you can play a Japanese DS game on an Australian DS for example.
I think you should get it, you seem to like Final Fantasy, so why not? ;)
