I've been playing casually for years, and, after reaching a certain point, I can't seem to get any better. Maybe 8-10 kills max, lot of deaths. I'm thinking maybe Asperger's has something to do with it since I seem to have slower reactions than other players and I get stuck with certain routine motions always at the wrong time. Also, I can't aim for s**t.

Has anybody else just plateaued and can't seem to get any better?

(Silly topic, I know, but I just finished getting smoked again. Black Ops II this time.)

What I can't stand is Medal of Honor: Warfighter. I'm stuck and have to rely on a trainer to get through it.

Some of these games require trainers to get through them as they're very difficult. Sigh. I remember the days when you can type tilde on a keyboard and access the code areas. Those days are gone now and the only way to cheat in a game is to use trainers.

I am terrible at call of duty. But battlefield 3 I am not too bad at. When I play COD, I usually like the cqc maps like dome. If I am not doing well I start pissing people off by knifing them and shooting the hell out of killstreaks and uav's.

The kind of games you are good at varies. To this day, I've never found anyone else who has beaten Turok on inhuman difficulty.
You are usually good at games you enjoy. If you just like the game but still suck at it, it doesn't really matter if you are good at it or not anyways.

Fairly good at the game.I don't play online because of having no inernet connection so i play against offline Veteran Bots.

In Black Ops 2 (currently playing ghosts) i would play against bots in 9v1 Teamdeathmatch.

I will play with veteran bots on Ghosts for xbox 360,if i were to have internet i would be alot better but i find having Aspergers an advantage especially if it has anything to do with me gaming.

I'm not that good at it.

I have trouble quickly identifying friend from foe (even when played on a large screen), and with aiming speed. I often fall behind teammates. Having teammates in front of me, and trouble identifying friend from foe, together make for a tough time.

I am also susceptible to playing worse when the sound is turned up. Low sound volume seems to help my game; I can get overloaded otherwise and my game suffers.

i was decent at cal of duty 4, but not the rest, i'm far better at battlefield games, different classes and team work along with bigger maps is quite nice. I make a great support class or medic, decent engineer but horrible sniper

I'm assuming you mean the newest CoD games, played on consoles versus other players online.

Single player, especially on a PC with mouse and keyboard, I am fine at. But multiplayer, especially with a gamepad and a low FOV, I'm not very good at (but I'm at least better at it than I am at Halo). I don't try very hard to be good at it though, I just like to have fun =) The fact that there is no score penalty for killing yourself certainly doesn't help prevent me from goofing off.

Heheh, I was having the same problem in Big Red One. I said "It's a good thing this is only a videogame, I would have been in a lot of trouble if I had actually been in World War II." The greenish-brownish guys are my teammates, and the greenish-brownish-slightly-more-brownish-than-us guys are the "bad guys"? Okay, I can either shoot first and ask questions later, or take my time and risk life and limb.

I'm not very good at CoD but I'm usually great at other FPS games. I think it's the gameplay and layout, the CoD style doesn't really work for me, I'm more used to the Counter Strike type of layout, not using to things like grenade keys and such. I don't really play that much FPS anymore, but when i play seriously I can still average 10-20 kills per death once I get warmed up and "in the zone".
I have a bunch of older games, I haven't bought a new FPS game in ages. Been planning to get BF4 but I'm supposed to be saving money and avoiding purchases like that. The newest game I play now is called Ace of Spades, beta version which is free and it's best described as minecraft with guns.

I play PC only, consoles confuse me.

I also have issues with identifying friend from foe, I play only where friendly fire is off, I basically shoot anything that moves. I have very quick reaction time, it's almost instinctive. I've been accused of aimbotting repeatedly because I can engage multiple opponents faster than most people can react, I think the most if 5 people ambushed me and I killed them all. I don't ever cheat.

Waaaaay back when I actually used to play CoD, I like to think I was pretty good at it.

I haven't played since MW3, though.

I'm terrible at COD, and would love to find other Aspies to play on ps3. I have Black Ops 2, MW2, and COD4. I average about 4-5 kills, and 10 deaths when online. Only game I ever excelled in was Harm's Way for the 360. I was top 3 for a while.

The only online multiplayer FPS game I was ever good at was Wolfenstein online and Halo Reach.

Everything else forget it.

I don't even enjoy it, honestly.

I only play co-op online (Halo) or COD: Zombies co-op online. Pretty much anything co-op I play online but multiplayer it's a hit or miss.
I play Battlefield 1942 multiplayer online though.

The thing with CoD is making sure you have the right weapon and layout that matches your play style. It makes a MASSIVE difference.

If you are struggling with accuracy you may want to use a shotgun rather than a assault or sniper rifle class.

What? Does Battlefield 1942 even still have online multiplayer?

Anyway, I'm fairly good at it but I don't care because the series has gotten really crappy at this point. I don't think AS has anything to do with it either, the only games that it may have an affect on is The Sims lol.

My bad. I meant Battlefield 1943. It's an Arcade game on Xbox live.
