It looks like it's gonna be awesome, though I don't like how they decided to have differences between the two versions. I was seriously hoping for cross-platform multiplayer, so that I could verse someone on my 3DS while they're playing on a Wii U. Also, Little Mac looks like he's going to be an overpowered character, especially with his one-hit KO move.

There were a couple trolls in there, like implying that Zero-suit Samus was cut, and that Palutena is an assist trophy.

I am looking forward to Zelda on it, I was usually not that worried about changing between forms. But Sheik looks amazing in HD, might make me want to get a Wii-U and play as her.

Actually that was a collectible trophy of Pseudo Palutena, not an assist trophy. Palutena could still be playable, since Pit now gets the 3 Sacred Treasures for his Final Smash.

Got even more giddy & excited after that Direct. Laughed when the pong paddles & ball appeared as an Assist Trophy....

And we have 2 alternate costumes confirmed: Wii Fit Trainer can be either gender, while Little Mac has a wire frame costume based off the original arcade Punch-Out!! so I hope others get costumes too.

Costume ideas:

Mario- Dr Mario, referee, Shadow Mario/Cosmic Mario
Luigi- Dr Luigi, Mr L, Peach's dress
Peach- Daisy, Mario Kart biker suit, Sports miniskirt, fire
Rosalina- fire, biker
Bowser- Dry Bowser
Link- Fierce Deity, Dark Link, Skyloft
Toon Link- Outset Island, Engineer
Zelda- Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, Hylia
Ness- Pajamas
Zero Suit Samus- Justin Bailey
Samus Aran- Dark Suit, Fusion Suit, Light Suit
Mega Man- X, Mega Man.EXE, ZX, Starforce, Mega Man Volnutt, Rock
Sonic- Shadow, Silver, Metal Sonic
any Fire Emblem characters- class change/upgrade
Olimar- Louie, President, Alph, Charlie
King DeDeDe- Masked DeDeDe
Yoshi- Boshi
Pit- Dark Pit/Pitoo
Villager- other outfits from Animal Crossing, as well as gender choice


I'm also hoping for an Assist Trophy Switch option to turn off that damn NintenDog. I don't like almost having a heart attack every time that thing pops up....bad enough there's a NintenDogs stage in the 3DS version.

Agreed. Also, one of the screenshots just released show a Polar Bear from ice Climber....another trolling moment teasing the return of Nana & Popo perhaps?
