My local newspaper did this poll. Mid-size town in Kentucky. I think WP results will be different.

Ky results: Favorite Vintage Video Game:

Mario Bros: 29%
Pac-Man: 42%
Tetris: 19%
Donkey Kong: 2%
Other: 8%

Of those listed, I would take Pac Man.

While tempted to choose "other", I'm going to stick with the four listed and say Mario Bros.

I never cared much for the quality of the original NES port (I always thought it was worse than the Atari 2600 version), but the original arcade game was fun, and there's a little known PAL region NES re-release that's really good.

As old arcade games go, mine is Juno First. I expect nobody here to have the foggiest clue what that is.

If I had to pick an old console game, then... er... I'd stand here looking confused for about a week until finally deciding on one.

Probably not considered "vintage".

And from the list, I'm assuming they're only counting arcade games.

Well, if they're only counting arcade games, then I'd probably have to go with Robotron 2084 or Tempest.
