mario kart 8 looks like a great game. looks like its going to have an online community that lasts longer than just a few months.

the pleasant surprise was the second Funtendo direct for this month.

Finally! A defense against that cheap effing Blue Shell!! !! ( Note: also good, but not mentioned in the direct that I can recall, item switch option a la Smash Bros )

I am a bit disappointed ( an a little pissed ) that they keep adding generic baddies & alternate costumes as playable characters. Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach are just palette swaps ffs....why not Kooper over generic Koopa Troopa? Where are Pauline, Mona, Captain Syrup, Dixie Kong, Candy Kong, Tiny Kong, King K Rool, Wart, Fawful, Ashley, 9-Volt, Vivian, Dimentio, E Gadd, Starlow and Broque Monsieur?

Also in a huge tug of war on the freebie game: Pikmin 3, NSMBU or Wind Waker HD? So hard to choose....

As for the E3 Direct: I hope we find out the release date for Bayonetta 2, the actual title and date for Monolith's new RPG, info on SMT X FE, info on Hyrule Warriors, Miyamoto's new IP and a new fighter reveal for Smash Bros ( PLEASE let Shulk be playable! ). Surprise announcement of new Star Fox, F-Zero, StarTropics, Eternal Darkness or a remake/reboot of Ice Climber or Mach Rider would be icing on the E3 cake

Can't wait for Mario Kart 8 to come out! But I'll have to save up for a Wii U. Have you seen the Nintendo Direct for Tomodachi Life coming out?
