Cluedo is really simple but almost everybody I know misses 80% of the clues. Here's why. When a guess is made the guess travels around the board until a player has one of those cards. Not only do we know the information from our own guesses but we also know which players cannot have any of those cards, and we know which player does have 1 or more of these cards. If you record this information you can actually use it so effectively that you will know by aprocess of deduction rather than illimination exactly who has what cards and what the winning cards are long before anybody else has even deduced 2 of the cards.
Infact this reduced my brothers girlfreind to tears last christmas when she finally realised that it was literally impossible to beat me without knowing the system I was using and (then when I explained it) that if we all knew the system there would be absolutely no skill involved, we would all realise the answer at exactly the same point in time and it would just be pot luck who won because it would be whoevers go fell on that critical turn who won the game.

Now you know this the only fun you will ever get from the game will be winning, but at least you'll be doing that alot!
