I do. I have my nephews Birthday party this weekend at the Bowling Alley he's turning 7 including IF everyone RSVPs and family I'd say about 35 people. Trying to rack my brain on WHAT GAME to take. I have most of the Nintendo 1st party titles and most of the highly rated ones. Just not 100% on what to take to play. I've done this before for Thanksgiving (a lot less people) and played Chrono Trigger on DS (got it like that Wed. beat it over Thanksgiving weekend) GOOD TIMES GOOD TIMES! :-)

Perhaps try to replay a game I've already beaten. I love RPGS but DO I want to get wrapped into an RPG IF I'm called away for present opening and cake? Fire Emblem and Bravely Default and Shin Megami IV take concentration and focus I may not be able to devote fully too.

Pokemon I'm done outside of trading so that's out. I have Mario 3D Land I haven't beat and Mario are quick 5min. levels IF I AM called away. Not sure what to play that's a quick 3DS pick up and play title. Any ideas????

The nice thing about 3DS games is as long as you've got enough battery, you can press the Home button and pause any time you want.

Not a lot of "play for a couple minutes" games on the 3DS though, lots of "sit and enjoy for hours". Animal Crossing is okay in short bursts, if you're into that. Some of the downloadable titles...

I currently don't because I'm not hooked on any of my games. Pokemon feels grindy. Beat Fire Emblem. Rune Factory 4 started feeling repetitive.

If I could buy one, it'd be one of the Mario games. They seem cool to play casually on the go.

I just bring a book now if I know I'm going to be bored.

I have a 3DSXL that I bought on a whim when I got my first paycheck, and I took it with me to different places for a while, but now it mostly just sits on my desk hooked to its charger. I actually bought it hoping I could mod it for homebrew and run emulators, but sadly that's not the case. I know you can run emulators on Android phones, and I used to play Fire Emblem all the time on my old phone, but for any sort of real time games, or really anything requiring more than two buttons to be pressed at once, touchscreens are a pain in the ass to use and I much much much prefer to have actual buttons.

Back in 2007-10, I used to take my DS Lite and later DSi everywhere, but it's not the same because I was pre-teenaged, and not judged as much as I'd be now.

Good times with Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Mario RPG!! !, some Chrono Trigger (need to re attain that game asap!)

but I lost it...and never got a 3ds (yet XD

I take my 3DS with me to various places, but rarely to play. I mostly carry it with me to get streetpasses.

Yeah, I try to bring it places, hoping to get StreetPasses, but I usually don't get any =(

At least I can get play coins, I suppose.

I have a hard time leaving the house without mine, lol. It gives me a way to be absent if things get awkward (which seems very often to me). I have social anxiety, so. I'd rather be staring at a battle screen, not even making commands, than talking to people.

I don't have a 3ds, I recently got a vita though. I normally take as many electronic stuff I can to gatherings. I am a bit worried about taking the vita out as I don't have a case for it yet.

We're having a Memorial Day family gathering at Devil's Backbone. I'll be bringing a lot of things including 3DS.

I get play coins when I don't go anywhere. You just have to put the 3DS in sleep mode and shake it gently up & down for a few minutes. I get the 10 coin max every day and when I hit the 300 maximum held limit I use them to hire mercs in Warrior's Way, buy puzzle pieces ( which needs to be less random ffs ) and make progress in the other Mii Plaza games.

And I rarely get StreetPasses myself. I even went to a Nintendo Zone spot and got NOTHING. I wish Nintendo would just use any wi-fi access as a StreetPass relay point....

But then you're not getting any exercise.
