Loved The Witcher 3, can't wait for all the expansions so I can start it again.

I like RPGs, so I'd recommend Pokemon or Skyrim.

I have always been bad at video games. between dying every few seconds to constantly dropping the control, I have never played them much.

However someone got me into Lord of the Rings Online, which I have become pretty much hooked on. It's a cool role playing game I can play at a slow pace. And using the keyboard is easier for me.

I am actually posting this while my character is riding from the Misty Mountains to Rivendell (horse is on auto-pilot). Then I am off to Eregion to deal with some Dunlendings to get 5 more Bingo Badges. It is really awesome being able to travel all over Middle Earth.

If you can handle graphic violence, coarse language, and other sorts of mature content, I definitely recommend checking out Grand Theft Auto V. Playing the PC version in first person perspective makes for a crazy immersive experience, and in between doing missions and causing mayhem, I actually enjoy just driving around, taking in the scenery, and listening to the radio.

It runs quite well on my computer, but the Vram usage is pretty high, and I'm actually considering getting a better GPU just so I can crank things up some more. I average about 45-50fps in 720p with my graphics settings set slightly above "normal"... which is actually this game's "low" :P But it still looks and plays really nicely. Rockstar could learn a few things about optimization and GUI design, and there are a couple of bugs that could be stamped out, but compared to the sloppy porting job GTA IV had, GTA V is awesome.

I'll admit however, if it weren't for the first person mode, I probably wouldn't enjoy this game nearly as much. Like, third person is still useful for some sections, and I did play in third person at first, but first person makes it easily 10x more immersive. I can't imagine playing the inferior console versions that lack this feature, now that I've been spoiled by it.

Usually, I play good video games exclusively ;) But, you know, every once in a while, I get into a weird mood where I want to play bad ones =| Sort of a guilty pleasure, I suppose.

There's another thread where everyone posts what they're playing ;) viewtopic.php?t=197712

I've been playing Harvest Moon 3 at work for a while now. I'm started to get tired of it, but I think I'm almost at the end.

Wow, I find that hard to believe. GTA IV was simply awful, I don't think RockStar have done a decent PC game since GTAII.

V is very optimized, I can run it at 4K 60fps with a single GTX 980 TI SC.

GTA V still has its quirks and bugs, like I have to disable Aero before I run it to get the mouse to work properly, and the ingame vram meter is supposedly a lying POS, but I think they learned their lessons from GTA IV.

People rarely talk about Sid Meier's Civilization V (it's on Steam), but it is really awesome. The graphics aren't very appealing if you're not the one playing thou, and each game takes many many hours to end. I definitely recommend it (only with all the dlc). Occasionally there are price drops of up to 75% off on Steam or on the Humble Store.

Also, competitive Smash Bros. is great.
