Its coming to open beta in a week or two.

I've been trying to get a beta key for this thing for so long it's been one frustrating experience. Wish I could get one right now but it seems I'll have to wait.

Those interested in naval warfare WW2 era should check this game out. Its not very realistic but its good enough :)

They had invite codes in a recent humble bundle (e3 2015, from memory) but sadly it's no longer on sale.

I've been playing on the SEA server, and it seems a reasonable game.

There may be players in SEA server forums (forums.worldofwarships.asia) for the game who bought the bundle and don't plan on using the keys if you can get on there to ask...They were only for use on NA server, so of little use to players there.

About bloody time! Been waiting for that one. Kept hearing about it, kept seeing it on Twitch, but couldnt get on it myself.

Not concerned about a lack of total realism... I very much prefer something like World of Tanks to something like War Thunder (where I cant even tell what's going on half the time, or figure out which targets are the enemy and which are my teammates, when the realism is high; also that game is VERY slow-moving).

Good idea Brictoria.. but sadly one cannot ask for keys in their forums (instaban). If you happen to know a friend that has an extra one I'd appreciate it :)

I'll see what I can do this evening...Not sure if I'll be able to get a key for you or not, but there are a couple of people who have posted abiout getting pack only to read fine print afterwards and see keys don't work on this server.

I am a big fan of military history, and a huge fan of naval stuff in particular. So, I am going to be keeping an eye on this new game.

Personally I am waiting for War Thunder to add ships. I've never played any of the World of... games but really like War Thunder, though prefer the planes vastly to the tanks. But the devs over there are saying they are trying to figure out how to integrate ships since real naval battles played out over hours or days, not the 10-20 minutes of a typical plane or tank battle in their game.

Good points, Screwy. If I recall, long-range naval gun battles have a hit rate less than 10%. That would be a big, slow-paced grind in a video game. Maybe it will be more like in Assassin's Creed Black Flag, which I found fun enough to enjoy.
