Sorry, it's just that the only RPGs I've played to any extent are Dark Chronicle (Dark Cloud 2 for you), Parasite Eve 2 (which is more action/rpg) and the Pokemon series.

Edit: Can I include characters from games I haven't played?

check out the rpg i put up in the other thread....kingdom of loathing. it's turn based and you have a limited number of turns per day...but in general, it's a fun game and very clever.
