Besides Civilization: Beyond Earth, that is. I can't afford to spend more money on games for now.

It's been a long time since I managed to find playing partners for these types of games. Most recent ones I have:

Turn Based Strategy
Civilization V: Brave New World
Endless Legend
Warlock 2
VASSAL [Program that lets you play Warhammer 40K online]

Real Time Strategy
Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm

Older games:
Dawn of War (1): Soulstorm
Heroes of Might & Magic III and V
Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance [never played, part of a Steam deal]
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne

Hey, my steam name is John_Dinner if you were up for trying Supreme Commander: FA. Never played it, got it in the deal too, but I still play Total Annihilation sometimes and it's almost the same game.

I want to get into Starcraft 2, but watching the tournaments makes me feel like I'm a little too late to the party and I'm probably better off waiting for a Starcraft 3 for a better chance of getting into it due to the amount of currently available meta.

Hey, that's great! I sent you a friend invite on Steam (I'm the guy with a pterodactyl-looking avatar)

I have no idea how to play SC2 on a competitive level, so if you're looking for a casual sparring partner I'd be happy to assist.
