The Space Sim the world has been waiting for for 18 years is released tomorrow, anyone excited?

I might give it a try if the reviews are good. It looks promising.

i might, it looks like a nice game to play, although i don't like games with semi-optional PvP (there will be griefers unless there is a "non-agrassion" toggle somewhere)

Not sure what the above means?
I will guess its the same worry that I had with multiplayer that you will be playing other Humans who might spoil the game for you.
Although you play it online, there is an option to play it Solo where you have the galaxy to yourself.

I'm moderately excited about this.

I used to play Elite a lot, back on the C64, the original Bell and Braben Elite.

I find the idea of multiplayer Elite to be very cool.
Although I plan to watch a few lets play vids before I stump up any money.
But if it matches up to the hype, this could be really good.

I'm going to wait a good year or so before jumping into it based on comments in their reddit page, the game has a long way to go, plus the occulus rift consumer version come out by then, should be worth holding out on.
