Many CS:GO players?

I've been getting into counter strike lately(nova 3) and was wondering if there where many other autistic cs:go players. If so have you been watching the ESL games?

I played for a short period of time after the Steam Xmas sale, but I never got too serious about it. It's a pretty fun game, but I think I still prefer good old 1.6. The only real problem I have with it is that it's partially microtransaction driven, and if you want to play on the latest maps on Valve's official servers, you have to pay for the passes, and the passes only last for so long.

That's understandable, I prefer the vanilla maps so I don't care much about the micro transactions. I would say that it is also partially made up for by being extremely cheap. However, one thing I do dislike is the new skins and how it encourages gambling. However, some of the money does go toward prize pools which makes it a bit better.

I play CS:GO but I haven't watched the ESL ONE Cologne tournament, however I have idled in the GOTV and Twitch hoping to get a weapon case drop which I didn't get.

I don't like watching sports, be it "real" sports or e-sports.

This game is a mood killer. You never know what's gonna happen (when you play competitive) and things might turn out other way around even if you're in strong lead, that's why I love and hate this game at the same time. Also I always get a slight headache if I play longer than 2 hours or so, this game is too tense.

Yeah it can certainly be intense but the only times I don't enjoy it are when I feel clueless in a clutch situation and everybody is watching me. I also was never into sports but I did get hooked watching ESL cologne when I started going for a team.

I play and I'm gold nova II. My play style is odd, I seem to perform best in clutches. I will often win the occasional 1v3 while at the bottom end of the scoreboard. I recently almost aced on dust 2.

Watched ESL in game. That tournament had good matches.

I very much agree with this. Never was I very good at 1.6, but it took the shift to CS: Source for me to drop it. Sometimes I still reminisce about getting hot with the USP and getting banned from pubs...

Bought in the Steam Sale and haven't touched it since. One day I'll get round to it amongst the other Steam games.

Yeah you should if you like competitive games . I recently ranked up to DME and I'm loving it so far .

I'll play occasionally, but usually just deathmatch. Get bored sitting there, and have to have constant action. I don't have time to be good any more, being a chemistry major. I haven't tried the ranking system yet, how does that work? I'd probably be pretty damn good, considering that I've been playing FPS games since 1991.

Currently playing the hell out of Borderlands the pre sequel, pretty fun.

Yeah I'm going to play through Borderlands the pre sequel with some friends and looking forward to it.

Personally I find deathmatch to be a bit boring because there is action but it is never intense like competitive there aren't 1v3 clutch situations and I never feel like if I die or get a kill that it meant anything.

The ranking system works by how many wins/losses in or row of competitive games you have won in a row so if you win five times(of the official 5 vs 5 not the community servers) in a row there is a far chance you can rank up. There are a total of 18 ranks and generally you are matched up against people of the same rank.So when you first start you matched up against people who are also unranked(you get you rank after 10 wins). Even though it says that games can go for up to 90 minutes comp rarely go over 45 minutes.
