Minecraft: Regular Skeleton In Nether!?!
So, I was playing modded Minecraft one day, and I went to the nether. I explored for a few, when I found a regular skeleton, by a nether fortress, in the nether. I did not know how it got there, which is why i was shocked when i found it. What do you guys think?

Any time a Wither Skeleton spawns, it has a, uh, 10% chance I believe, to spawn a normal skeleton instead. Or is it 20%? Somewhere around there. It's been like that in the game for.... quite a long while now. I believe it's been able to happen since the Wither skeletons were added. Because, you know, none of the Nether enemies were irritating enough, so normal skeletons were added to increase the chances of you being shot off the edge into lava. Definitely pays to be careful about that, because you never know just where they might appear in a fort.
That's the base game doing that, it's not a mod making it happen or something.
On the flip side, you can also get zombie pigmen spawning on their own in the overworld near your Nether portals. As in, actually spawning there, not being pushed through while you're on the other side. This also happens if lightning strikes a pig. Because logic. That almost never, ever happens though. It's just as rare as a creeper getting struck and turning into a charged creeper.
