Anyone play Ragnarok Online?

RO was my first mmo ever and I played it for several years but ultimately quit due to drama and switched over to WoW for a very long time. WoW never really scratched the itch for me like RO did and after some disgust with the recent expansion (Warlords of Draenor) I came back to RO, since its initially free to play.

I'm in a small guild with friends who helped me get a head start, playing on the renewal server. I've leveled a wizard and currently have a sniper but I really want to try leveling up a sage/sorcerer, wizard is kind of awful now which is disappointing since it was my go to class in classic.

The game is still pretty grindy -but- not as grindy as classic was and they've added stuff like the Eden group quests that help gear you up if you're new and the bounty boards are a welcome, new way to level. I'm enjoying myself though I'm currently taking a short break.

If you are seriously interested in playing I would greatly suggest investing in VIP though, it increases your exp gained, reduces your death penalty (vital for the later levels once you've transcended) and increases your drop rate. Yes, there's a cash shop too and this game does have some pay2win qualities but I'm still finding the game very fun.
