Does anyone out there like to play adventure games? By adventure games I mean games where you play as a character and solve puzzles (usually logical) and gather items and talk to other characters to further along the story. There is usually no fighting involved. I'd think these kind of games would be something Aspies would like because it involves using your brain. Some examples of adventure games

King's Quest series
Monkey Island series
Grim Fandango
Myst
Space Quest series
The Longest Journey
Syberia
Sam and Max

The kyrandia series!! !
and the Monkey Island series...

Legend of Kyrandia was my favourite...

I like adventure games...solving puzzles and tasks...exploring dungeons and making maps...
The good thing about Kyrandia's dungeons was that you were able to make a map of them....whereas in the Monkey Island series, it was set in a confusing way...I couldn't get hold of any sense of direction....

I liked Hand of Fate from that series. Never got to play Malcom's Revenge though. The maze in Legend of Kyrandia was a nightmare.

If you're into adventures games, try checking out "The Last Express", "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream", "Gabriel Knight", as well as the "Broken Sword" series. All excellent games though they may be difficult to locate.
