Anyone here playing Farcry Primal?

I picked it up on launch day after so much anticipation and so far I'm not disappointed. It's just like all of the other Farcry games in the franchise, just set back 12,000 years lol. The graphics are awesome and there is so much exploring to do on the huge world map. What do you think of it?

I have been for the last few days. My impressions pretty much sum up as "Basic Farcry gameplay with a prehistoric skin". Farcry has always been a bit generic in terms of its gameplay elements but excels with its set pieces and this one is no exception.

Its a great game! I like that they are trying something new I dont know way everyone was heating on this game... This is that kind off far cry game I wanted

Among the reasons I can see people having issues with the game:

There are less weapon and skill improvements than 3 and 4 leading to weird things like the long bow doing less damage to some enemies than the short bow.

There doesn't seem to be a standout villain like Vaas or Pagan and the story is rather straightforward.

The man character is basically Captain Caveman Obvious.

The challenges lack variety and number compared to previous Farcry games.

The clustering of enemies makes the traditional stealth methods of previous games very difficult if not impossible to employ at times.

A map that feels smaller compared to the previous games.
