Okay, so, the rules are :

1. Name a game everyone should play.
2. Don't pick something already mentioned by someone else!
3. Tell us why everyone should play it!
4. I know I don't need to say this on WP, but just in case; respect each other's opinions! This isn't a debate thread. It's just me trying to have a bit of fun with everyone on the forum who likes video games, and seeing what I should try and play in 2016!

I hope you all had a top Christmas/Holiday season.

My recommendation (to get us started) is probably The Last of Us. I think it's something that's very open and accessible no matter what you're into. It's control scheme is very well thought and it handles well, the difficulty scales well and has a nice learning curve to it. The story is absolutely incredible and very well-written, with relatable and superbly acted characters, and is the reason I recommend it here. Without giving too much away, it is a post-apocalyptic world, in which you take the role of Joel, and occasionally his young companion Ellie, on a treacherous journey across the United States, facing off with numerous dangers along the way. The multiplayer is good fun too!
