What I've seen of it honestly looks a bit generic. Another competitive FPS, this time trying to be a bit like TF2 combined with... name of other game escaping me. We sure dont have enough FPS games, no sir. Ugh.
I mean, it's Blizzard, so it'll at least be high quality, but they're... not exactly a very creative bunch in alot of ways. Refined, yes. But creative, not really. Tend to be very "by the book" and outside of Starcraft they tend to dumb things down alot these days (actually, I think Starcraft might be the ONLY recent-ish game of theirs that hasnt seen this idea applied to it during it's design).
And they're doing yet another one of those "we're making it look really major but it's nearly impossible to get into" betas. Hard to get a real grasp of anything beyond the basics right now, but from what I know of it, it doesnt actually go that far beyond those basics. Granted this is the case with a TON of games of this type, but still.
Likely it'll be the sort of thing where I'll occaisionally watch certain particularly entertaining people on Youtube (typically not the "big" guys, only big one I follow is Markiplier) play it, because that could be a recipe for humor, but that's about it. Blizzard's games havent been very interesting to me as of late. Starcraft 2 has the complexity that COULD make it interesting to me.... if it wasnt a giant festival of constant non-stop clicking. The other games I just find a little dull.
That's not to say I'd be against trying it, but not if I have to pay for it.

It looks promising, I hope the matchmaking system is ten fold better than what heroes of the storm offers.

Dont hold your breath on that one. In alot of cases, matchmaking is a very difficult thing to get right. For alot of reasons.
Though, HOTS is almost a bit of a unique case in some ways, aint it...
