There are SOOOO many bad or frustrating games. I really don't know what the worst would be, but LJN's X-Men for the NES was TERRIBLE.
Everyone seems to love the Super Monkey Ball games, but I hate those too. I hate heights/falling off of ledges in games, and I hate super technical-make one mistake and it's over-type games, and Super Monkey Ball is both.

Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle!
Did you play the original on the Genesis? Or the version that comes with Sega Genesis Collection on the PSP/PS2? I just recently played through it on the PSP, and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. But that version lets you save any time, so I'd save at least a couple of times per level, so I could just reload if I screwed up. I think it would have been way too hard if not for the ability to save anywhere.

"Oni", I changed my scratched FFX game for that crap, and I think it's the most annoying game.
Ugh, I hated that game too.
There is only one good Alex Kidd game and that would be Alex Kidd in Miracle World. It's simple yet challenging, straight to the point yet has a storyline, cool side-game (I love Janken Matches), I love the vehicles, and a host of items to use! Tell me, what game can beat that? Other than Sonic the Hedgehog of course.
