Pokemon R/B/G/Y 2DS bundles coming to Japan

Launching February 27th in Japan at Pokemon Centers for 9980¥ (~$83USD)

Each bundle comes with the corresponding 3DS theme, a mew code for the VC games and ORAS (Gen 3 remakes).
They also come with a set of stickers and a poster of the Kanto map.

Japanese Blue uses the updated engine and coding the Western versions run on.

*Trading is done via wireless and works as if it is the original game link cable.


This is the official launch of 2DS in Japan (this is the first time the system will be sold there).

Those red/blue ones were the only thing that had me attracted to the 2DS...and now there's a green one??? @_@

Looks like they updated them a little bit, I'm pretty sure the US versions didn't have the SFC colored BA/YX buttons.

I think these are based on the New 3DS hardware if I'm not mistaken.

That would be interesting, but I don't see "New" on the packaging.
