Title. I'm just curious to see if anyone here plays. If so, which class do you play, and how?

I do, to a degree. Usually Paladin right now.

I dont play particularly often though... the "meta" is *way* too stale. I like TCGs alot, but I've never played another one that comes even close to the level of staleness that Hearthstone reaches.

Not to mention the small card pool... smaller than it looks, actually, since there's quite a number of cards that are outright terrible and as such nobody ever uses them (Angry Chicken is just one of many examples), which means the ACTUAL card pool is quite alot smaller then the number says.

So while it's a good game, I get rather bored with it quickly. I usually play unranked, because that has the highest chance of giving me an opponent who isnt just using one of the "popular" decks. AKA, an opponent that might actually be creative.

I'd rather be playing Magic though, really.

I do but am pretty pissed at their new announcement of Standard mode and the presumably neglect of the Wild mode where cards from old expansions would be confined in until the mode becomes an inbalanced mess.

I was addicted to it until I heard what was going to happen. I'm done with Hearthstone, and I hope it's a huge loss for Blizzard.

Wasn't a huge fan of it, largely because turn based and card games aren't usually my thing (damn you, Gwent!), but Hearthstone is a fun little game. I just didn't entirely enjoy it because of my general outlook on the genre.

What's happening with it? I know that F2P games can usually turn out to be rather shady, if not right from the start. Is it turning P2W?

It looks like they're forcing people into buying cards, am I right in saying that?

New players especially, if they want to have any chance of competing.

Pretty ridiculous. This is why I hate F2P games most of the time. :|
