i am very interested in "pawn sacrifice"--about the fischer/spassky match in 1972, with tobey maguire as fischer.

I can't wait to see this movie. I watched a HBO documentary about Bobby Fischer and it made it seem like he's just not a very good person. Not sure if was always like that but it seemed in the documentary he ended up like that. He is still an AMAZING Chess player in spite of how he ended up.

It was pretty amazing - zero mention of the possibility of Asperger's or autism - pretty much just an exercise in character assassination.

I have not see the film yet... However, i have heard some reviews from some grandmasters who were dissapointed in the lack of accuracy in some critical scenes. Apparently, they should have consulted more experts.
