Desktop Tower Defense, this game is so simple but so cool, quick but strategic, try it!!

I've been on Cybernations.net myself. INCREDIBLY addicting but thankfully you can really only play it for 10-15 minutes a day.

Although there are a LOT of dorks on there who don't seem to understand that it is a game and write in an incredibly pretentious way.
