I can't get very far in the companions quest line cause this dude won't get intimidated? What am I doing wrong? When I try to brawl he just stands there and if I attack him I'll end up killing him. I'd rather do it without getting the guards attention but I really don't care, I'll kill everybody in Rorikstead at this point if I can continue the game.

Well I found a partial solution, I can kill him and everyone in Rorikstead and I fail the question and can get a new one from the companions. I am not even finding this quest on the wiki, it is from one of my mods and why is it so broken? I would like to do it with minimal blood shed but I am kinda at the point where screw it. Is there a console command I type to intimidate him?

Would a good solution be to kill him, fail the quest and respawn him through the console?

So no gamers have an opinion on this?

Well damn ok, I guess I can assassinate Lemkil from a distance and than respawn him from the console. That way all of Rorikstead doesn't have to die. Still sucks that I fail the mission but I suppose this is one of the many Bethesda glitches.

Here is the code if this glitches for anyone else, I don't know if the new Lemkil will behave the same but I suppose thats price of playing a Bethesda title with 200 mods.

Code:
player.placeatme 000136B8

Maybe I can actually do the companion quest they give me in place of this mission.

When I played Skyrim the brawls were started by talking to the persons. If that don't work this must be a bug; not that they are lacking in Skyrim.

Yep, if you watch the video when I click brawl he is like bring it on and than he goes back to farming lol. I used the solution in the video, its not ideal but I don't get a fine and Lemkil lives on. I guess technically I could have keep him dead but I like to keep as many NPCs alive as possible but I still murder enough of them to get the Skyrim death penalty.

I play Skyrim on Xbox 360 so I am not sure how much help this will be however maybe loading an old save might help i know when I encounter bugs that seems to help 70% of the time
