(North America anniversary for the game)

Awesome game that I enjoy. One of the few Zelda games I've played all the way through. I highly recommend it.

....good grief, has it really been that long? Ugh.

At some point I should play through that again, was pretty much the last Zelda game I actually liked. Was very good.

I suppose if you own it, now it really IS a link to the past. (I apologize, the urge to knock that one down was too great.)

Seriously though, it's incredible to think it's been so long. Pokemon turns 20 this year too... Crazy stuff. Time goes too quick. Still their longevity goes to show, how just how phenomenally good they are.

and i only finished it last year! :D

after putting it down three years ago because it was going too slow.

i still consider it to be quite a slow game, but after completing it (100%) i appreciated it more. i prefer super metroid's pacing.

cheesing vitreous is a guilty pleasure.

Such fond memories of this game, I'm trying to remember if whether or not I played LttP first or zelda 1 xD I've literally been playing video games since I was old enough to pick up a controller so its much to remember XD

The first Zelda game I played and I enjoy it just as much as back then even nowadays and that's not just because of nostalgia.
Stunning how old it already is.

Yeah, the first game is even older than this one, which.... ugh. Makes me feel old, and I'm not.

Honestly even more than Link to the Past, I've always loved the very first Zelda. I dont like the series these days, but back then... oh yeah. Loved it. Played it to death. It's still great even now, and none of that "rose-tinted glasses" crap in my case.

i felt the first game didn't drag on as much as ALTTP so i appreciated that. very quick introduction without the nonsense later games had. quickly got into the habit of placing bombs literally everywhere which paid off pretty nicely.

hopefully the new game learns from zelda 1...but i ain't holding my breath.

The 1st Zelda game I ever played was Majora's Mask and then I played OOT. I didn't have a Super Nintendo growing up, all we had was a Sega Genesis and then we had the Nintendo 64 when I was in middle school.

Heh, it's older than I am, and yet somehow it was still my first Zelda. :P It will always be one of my faves too.
