So, World of Warcraft is getting a new expansion and I've just seen this preview:



Anyone excited for the new WoW expansion?

I'm really on the fence. WoW seriously needs a sequel with an updated game engine rather than a bunch of expansions in my opinion. Legion is bringing some interesting features but I have to wonder if the time would have been better spent building a new game.

I'm also on the fence about Legion. I burned myself out on the Beta, but I've not been playing for a few weeks now. I was heavily into Marvel Heroes, but now even that is getting stale. WoW again? Maybe. Moving on...

Story wise it is definitely intriguing, what with going up against one of the big baddies in the game's universe. Game-play wise, I'm not too sure I want to get back into something that has, on previous occasions, caused me grief (other players in random groups, not the game itself).

Overall? I'm 50/50 about playing Legion. On one hand I'm curious how Legion will end. On the other hand, I don't wanna subject myself to that stress again. Maybe watch cutscene/gameplay videos on YouTube instead? lol
