I've been a hardcore fan of Sonic the Hedgehog for as long as I can remember, and I've collected about $1500.00 of Merchandise throughout my lifetime. Any other huge fans?

I liked Sonic Adventure 2: Battle on the Gamecube as a kid, and I also enjoyed playing some of the older 2D games through emulation, but I never got tremendously dedicated to the series. Part of it is just that I've heard the newer games aren't all that great, and another part of it is that I'm terrible at 2D platformers, especially fast-paced ones. :P

I LOVED the Sonic Adventure series. And the games only got terrible between Shadow the hedgehog up to whatever was before Sonic Colors. Sonic Colors and after the games have been getting way better, and I highly suggest looking into those. And I own Sonic 06 only because of two reasons. Its a Sonic game which I HAVE to have, and because it was so hilariously terrible and glitchy I have to go back to play it again for a good laugh xD

Pleasure to meet you.

Iv'e been a dedicated fan and collected sonic comics & Pins for most/nearly all of my life. I have stopped now to focus on finishing the comic collection starting with back issues. I also have a pretty rare Sonic 3 hat from an employee at Sega and my cherished 90's Plush.

I believe there is a fairly strong connection with Aspies and Sonic the Hedgehog. I don't know what it is, but iv'e been working on documenting possible causes.

Yeah, a big Sonic fan. I've collected most of the games and a fan of various artistic Fandoms.

Well I always have been into the video games, especially the first three on the Sega Genesis. I also have some Sonic comic books.

I believe this too. I think it's similar to why Thomas is so popular with aspies- bright colours and characters with big personalities, except of course without the special interest factoring in.

I used to love Sonic when I was little. The first game I ever played was Sonic 1 for the Mega Drive when I was 2 or 3. I am not too fond of the direction the series has taken but I did like the Sonic Adventure games when they first came out.

Yeah I can agree SEGA are really having popo for brains of late, but I see there is an upcoming film and the games are getting better (if you overlook Sonic Boom).
But let's see what happens... cautiously optimistic.

In my backwater we're at least seeing some movement, i.e. toys, even though I have to import the really cool ones.

I like Sonic, when I had Sega, I had the game, I played that game all the time & I played Super Mario, Aladdin & Country Donkey Kong, I think that was the name. Later I got Super Nintendo, before Sega, I had Atari. I have Sonic on my iPad.

I still have a Dreamcast and the games...
I play the older games, as well as the newer ones, thru Steam, and for those Nintendo exclusives I use Dolphin Emu and a Nintendo 2DS
