Anyone hear about the remake of it? Although Grasshopper Manufactures first localized game was Killer7, the Silver Case was apparently their first project as a developer. I started with No More Heroes at around 15 myself, so almost ten years ago now I guess. But I've since played most of their other games, including the original version of this one.

Kind of almost pointless considering I don't know much Japanese, and aside from a few light puzzles it is pretty much a visual novel. Even so it reminded me most of Killer7 in its style which was enough for me at the time. I even thought about trying to learn Japanese, since I played it before they announced the remake being made. I could live without knowing what went on in other games like Yakuza Ishin or whatever, but I could just tell from the tone that this story would be worth really experiencing.

Judging from videos of the demos I've seen, it seems I'm not wrong about that, at least to me. There's certain things to like about the nonsense of NMH or Lollipop Chainsaw but I appreciate the serious storytelling and darker humor more. Unfortunately I don't have a decent pc right now but should get one soon.

Apparently the demo is on steam but I believe it's being released in a few days anyway. For crazy people who want a physical version, like me, Limited Run Games is taking orders on their website. They say they won't run out of stock as they are made per order and will take them til the 20th, and expect to ship in Decemberish if I read it right, so that should be enough time for me to get a pc anyway.
