After finishing the main storyline, I decided to look into the random events. Got a few today, such as my car getting stolen by an escaped prisoner outside Brokingdale Penitentiary, the car (a picador) was undamaged and has fairly decent speed and handling- glad I could have helped the jailbird out. Might have been a bit pissed if I had just modded a ride (like I have been doing with the super series cars) and he took that, however since I own that customs shop in the Senora Desert it wouldn't have cost me.

I also wiped out the altruists in the Chiliad State Wilderness as well today. I was a bit apprehensive at first about delivering people to cannibals, but on the third delivery they take you as well, fortunately Trevor spots an ill-placed AK-47 and massacres the lot of them. I think the place remains empty after that, or it might be the case that some people spawn there, but never become hostile like they did before you cleansed the place.

I delivered the drunk teen couple to them who were screwing in the backseat, the woman who was being buried alive (likely by two altruists, and hey, why bury her when you can eat her?) and the blonde celebrity starlet in downtown Vinewood who was being harassed by the paparazzi, listening to what she was saying on the journey there I was glad she was going to be roasted over a fire. But there are a lot of money drops in that camp, I found 3 briefcases, all containing $25,000. I also picked up some body armour, an RPG and an assault rifle.

The whole altruist thing reminds me of the Hills Have Eyes, Wrong Turn, and the stranger side mission in Red Dead Redemption called 'American Appetites' where John Marston tracks down a cannibal in the hills of Cholla Springs. I wish there was more to see in that mountain camp (In GTA V), like a door which lead into an underground tunnel which could have been creepy, blood on the floors and walls, and the room where the victims are 'prepared'. Maybe even one last little surprise in there, one last altruist wielding something unique, like a chainsaw, but it would have to be the only one in the game to make it worth finding.

I was also flying a 747 in first-person view, trying to recreate that scene in 'Flight' where the pilots invert the plane and manage to keep her level for a while. I tried to imitate it, but it wasn't working, was going down, I just managed to roll her back over and pull up VERY close to ground impact, the pedestrians probably felt the engine breeze as I flew overhead! I was now out over the desert, trying to keep her low for as long as possible, but they aren't very durable, I think my wing clipped a telephone pole and broke off because I went down in a great fashion.

Anyway. I had ideas for a zombie version of the game, like they did with RDR in Undead Nightmare, because I think the altruist camp in the mountains would be a very good 'safe zone' for survivors. Trevor becomes like Negan in The Walking Dead. I will probably do another post on this idea, with ideas how the rich and famous are extracted to Fort Zancudo, Brokingdale Pen could also be a safe zone, Chef could transform Liquor Ace into a fortress. Could be all sorts of cool missions, like capturing territory from the zombies, like the docks and LS International. Doing supply runs, rescue missions (which you could go about doing any way you wanted, like by helicopter). But I will save all this for another thread.

Anyone know of anything interesting to do in this game? I don't think I'm going to be able to solve the Mount Chiliad Mystery, I've seen the underwater UFO, but wish I could find a sasquatch in the wild, or even the mythical 'Rat-Man' in the tunnels beneath Los Santos, whether that one is real I'm really doubtful. Anyway, stay cool guys! :)
