Does anyone on here like to watch Let's Plays on YouTube? I didn't think I would at first, but I've found one channel that's actually really entertaining. It's PeanutButterGamer's PBGPlays channel, where he plays with his friend Jeff (they PB&Jeff). Funnily enough, I don't like it for the games they play so much as listening to their commentary while they play. It's legitimately funny. What about you guys?

I used to make Let's Plays on YouTube myself until the broken copyright system forced me to quit. I still make Let's Plays on another site called vidme. I go by the name GodModeHeroes because I cheat. I've only been on the site for almost 4 months so I haven't been able to replace all of the videos of every game I've played yet. I just finished the Half-Life 1 Anthology and I'm currently working on Sam & Max: Culture Shock. After that, I'll work on Source Engine and Half-Life 2 Universe games.

I really only watch one Let's Play channel actively, that being one by the name Piece of Pie Software. Been watching the dude since my early teen years. I could even go as far as to call him a friend, since I chat with him on occasion.
I also did Let's Plays myself for a brief time earlier in the decade. The quality of my videos was way sub-par, though.

Only the ones with no commentary, or one's where the commentary isn't quite so annoying (for example TheRadbrad sometimes). Otherwise I try to avoid them. Especially when they play the game so badly, you actually want to yell at them to be better.
Also, this is unrelated but still bugging me, but is it me or has IGN's forums been basically taken over by alt-righters who seem to like throwing around snarl words and complaining about "SJWs and anti-White racism" than video games?

I used to watch a bunch, but really only a few now. Still watch NintendoCapriSun which was my first. Had watched Game Grumps but after Jon left it got really difficult with Arin basically being DSP and Dan being too polite to disagree with anything, so I've stopped for quite some time now. Thesw1tcher is probably my favorite, sad to see Liam go and Matt's gone for a break but Pat and Woolie are good enough for now. I used to try to do my own but have since decided I'm not very good at the commentary aspect and only really do strictly gameplay. Judge for yourself but it's from years ago:
