I might be being redundant by making this new thread, so sorry if I am.
Anyway, I'd say that the best video game I've ever played...well, it's a toss up.
Final Fantasy VII or VI

My number one fave is Pokemon, but I can't narrow it down to just one specific title.

I like Pokemon Pearl, Omega Ruby, and Explorers of Sky best. My first Pokemon was a Piplup. So cute! :nerdy:

EarthBound...best game ever made right there. I mean there's a reason I've played it over 150 times....

Pokemon Blue was my first Pokemon game, and Squirtle was my starter. Half the reason I wanted to try the game at the time was because Squirtle was so cute

Probably Transistor. That game had so much gameplay depth.

The Talos Principle. It's a first person puzzle game much like the Portal series. It was made by Croteam who is famous for Serious Sam. For a company that specializes in shooters, they handled the puzzle genre really well. The puzzles are only half of the game's plot while the other half focuses on AI personality, humanity, life & death, religion, temptation, etc. And there are lots of easter eggs. It's a game worth experiencing.

Goldeneye and Mario Kart on the Nintendo 64 are, without question, the best multiplayer games I have ever played.

Empire Total War and Star Wars Battlefront 2 are my favorite games. Played both for many years and the large map modding community for pc still makes it fun to play, but conquering the colonial world does have its perks too I suppose.

"Ain't no gettin offa this train we're on!!'

Barrett, FFVII

Still in my opinion the most tear getting, gut wrenching, terribly impossible but awfully simple game ever made.

it took me a year and a half (ON MY OWN, no strategy or cheats) to beat that DAMN SEPHIROTH.

One of the most evil men I've ever known in a game.

Also appears in Kingdom Hearts 1 & II --- YOU try beating him on HARD mode in that last battle. Gahhhh! Long sword hurts. (That horrible 28ft long Masamune.)

The Original Halo Trilogy, I can't decide which one is best.
