I've been playing the demo for over a week. Its one of the better multiplayer experiences I've had in 5 years. Once you get used to the combat, the map, and the class functionalities there's alot more life underneath that initial lackluster appearance. Especially with the Field Ops/Oppressor and Medic/Tech. Definitely will be buying it.

Quake Wars has been out. What country do you live in? I think it comes out later for EU but I might be wrong.

I have played the demo for hours and the only improvement i can see over wolf: et is the new vehicles, everything else just doesn't appeal to me.

It might just be my drivers but even at 640x480( :o ) on my dual core pentium d 3.4ghz processor, 256mb radeon x1300 graphics card, 2gb ddr2 memory computer the game lags ALOT.

I can play wolf: ET extremly smoothly at 90+ fps at 1280x1024 resolution, so why does quake wars struggle 40fps at 640x480?

I am looking forward to the linux release though. :D

I am excited about Quake Wars. I love that game. I have been playing the demo since the day it came out. I am pretty good at this game, I usually get to be the top player! I beat everyone. A lot of times I get the most kills out of everybody! That is one of the reasons why I am excited about the game, because I am good at it. The game is just like Battlefield 2 which is one of my favorite games.

This game plays very differently from BF2, IMO. Battlefield 2 looked like it would be fun. But everything was too dispersed. It felt like I was playing a game of wack-a-mole.
