So I got word tonight that GOG (otherwise known as Good Old Games) has a holiday treat for EVERYONE!

They're older, classic 2D point-and-click adventures games but at least they're legal downloads! So grab em while they're free :)

Idunno about the other game, but Beneath a Steel Sky has been freeware for a long time now, and I'm pretty sure it'll stay that way forever.

Here's a huge list of more ;)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_co ... s_freeware

(though this list is not entirely accurate, Wolf: Enemy Territory is on there and to the best of my knowledge, was never available commercially)

Nah, looking over that list, I'm surprised at a lot of them too...had no idea Abuse had gone freeware o_O That was a pretty cool game, just nobody hardly knows of it because DOOM came out at the same time

It's strange, I just got the "beneath a steel sky" game just an hour ago from a recommendation on freeware games.
