I played F1 Race on Gameboy, which is said to be rather similar.

My favourite game on the Atari 2600 was Kaboom! designed by Larry Kaplan and you had to use a paddle controller to play it.

My favourite game on the Gameboy was Rhythm Paradise

That was in the PacMan Era.

I played it. It made me feel that I would never learn to drive.

I played Andretti Racing on the PS1 around 1996. Great fun. Remember winning the Indycar Championship (or whatever it was called) with Templer Truer Racing and Pacific Racing (?), but could only finish 3rd after joining the Andretti team. Only other racing game I tried was Gran Turismo, and I found that a bit disappointing.

The Atari was a little before my time as I was born in 1990 However I do have a game for my xbox that's a collection of Atari games. Though the games are a little before my time I do enjoy centerpied. Wish the game had space invaders I can remember playing a version of space invaders on my older sisters gameboy as a kid.

There was one game on the Atari 2600 that had tanks ans planes on it, and I think had 99 or 100 games based on varitions of these two concepts. Some were invisible tanks which would show up when one hit something or when one shoots or gets shot. One would hide and try not to crash to remain invisible and hope ones tank pointed the right way so when the opponent made a mistake so their tank became visiblw, one could quickly shoot them from a surprize location. It was real fun. Also on some games the bullets bounced to add further fun!

We got Pole Position 2600 at a dollar store. A few other games too. It's crazy to imagine that today, although stores like Five Below do have more modern video games (albiet usually pretty awful ones).

Did anyone enjoy Yar's Revenge on the A2600? I made a PC remake of it in vector graphics style years back.

My sister had an Atari and we used to play Frogger, Space Invaders and Jungle Hunt.
I did get an updated version of Atari later but it wouldn't play some of the games.

My brother had Atari. I remember Centipede (?), Space Invaders, and yes I think Pole Position?

I only played video games in the arcades back then. I played Centipede, Donkey Kong, Punch Out, Ms PacMan.

I couldn’t afford an Atari home video game. Home video games sucked until Mario Brothers. I was already in my 30s when GameBoy came out.

My kids were obsessed with Game Boy and Game Cube. Both 90s babies.
