Has anyone played this yet? Care to share your thoughts? It's the first game on the XBOX platform that's piqued my interest, so I was wondering what people's thoughts on it were. I've read that it's a bit like Dragon Quest VIII, which to me would be a very, very good thing.

I don't have XBOX 360, Blue Dragon is the only game for this patform that seems interesting for me, but I can't afford a new platform.

If the game is similar to Dragon Quest VIII, I think it would be better, because Nobuo Uematsu composed the soundtrack and Hironobu Sakaguchi worked in it

Blue Dragon anime serie seems great too! I'll try to get it the next anime con on december.

Meh, I've never really cared for the names behind it. Final Fantasy only really got good by modern standards after Sakaguchi stopped being director, and Nobuo Uematsu seemed to run out of ideas a while ago. And though I liked some of the designs in Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger, they're really waay too samey.
