www.fileplanet.com (And I think other sources) have versions of Farcry, Prince of Persia, and Rayman Raving Rabids for free. They're ad supported, apparently just have ads on loading screens.

The Windows version of the first Command & Conquer is free from:

Fileplanet's as slow as I've ever seen it from this, though I've gotten one, and the other two are downloading okay. I had to just retry EA's site from time to time to get in, and it's only going around 10KB/s!

Interesting.

I love the POP trilogy. (The originals were good too, though POP3D was lackluster....)

I found out you have to register for a (free) account on Ubisoft and enter your username/password when launching the installer for these games. Hopefully it's legitimate...got slightly worried after I did it. I guess that means you also have to have internet access, at least to install the games.
