Ho to go wireless on a DS

Im getting a DS finally tommorow and was curious how do i go on wifi i have a router can i get on wifi using that ?

Depends on the router.

Does it have to be a DS's router because some things like the xbox360 you need wireless network adapter,

Its not important but some games you can face people from around the world etc,

depends on if it can pickup b or g signal strengths

DS 's are similer to like bluetooth is to a cell phone, but a ds has a wireless network card built in (least i think) and should be as easy as connecting a wireless laptop to the internet

there should also be some wireless settings 9not sure how to do it step by step being i dont have a ds i found a manual online about wifi and seems its only done on pictochat and games that have wireless capability
