I currently have Tyrian 2000 from GOG website, and Raiden II.

I used to enjoy several others, including Xenon 2, Defender, and Arcade Parlour games like 1943 and a few others I can't remember.

Does anyone else love Scrolling Shooters like me?

I absolutely love GigaWing, for a variety of reasons.

  • I'm a sucker for twitch action, and this game's got it down pat.
  • Reflecting tons of bullets. Like, how much more ludicrous can you get?
  • Pinball scoring makes beating your own scores all the more fun.
  • It's a Takumi game. Ergo, the same unique concepts in GigaWing are also in its other shooters.

Multi-whammy right there, folks.

I have a love/hate relationship with them. Especially the bullet hell ones :x

I really get in the mood for them sometimes, but they frustrate the heck out of me.

I'm a big Touhou fan. I'm extremely bad at the games, though! I've only managed to beat Imperishable Night, and that was on easy mode.

I like to play Espgaluda II on the 360 with my Hori EX-SE arcade stick. On the pc I do prefer rRootage. On May 26 comes Akai Katana from cave - more reason to consider getting a japanese 360.
