I am so getting this for my 17th when I get a 360. I never played the first or second games in the series, but I owned a copy of the special edition of the third game. The new character looks like Dante and Vergil. How strange.

Is anyone else getting it?

I hate xbox. It's the n00b of consoles.
I also don't like Nero. He's a newb. He'll be a n00b if his arm-thing isn't fun. Let's hope it is fun.

I'm not being a n00bish fanboy. I am very pragmatic about what I choose to play. And I will refuse to get a PS3 until they reinstate backwards compatibility with the PS1 and PS2! The X-Box 360...well, you know what Microsoft is like.

Microsoft are notorious for buggy products. There's a whole Wikipedia article dedicated to XBox 360 technical issues, where there are none for the Wii or PS3, except in the main articles.

What you call my fanboy nature is merely my pragmatism. If you don't know what that means, it means looking at what actually happens than what might. In other words, being practical. There are two reasons I reject the XBox 360:

*The game library consists of either games I do not want, or can get on another console.

*The aforementioned technical issues.

So, I don't reject any console out of loyalty to any one brand. I reject them by thinking carefully about these things. My first next-gen purchase will be a Wii. Whether I get a PS3 or not later on, I'm not sure.

But, anyway, enough of the thread hijacking.

Berserker, you are well aware that the Devil May Cry anime is coming out soon?

I had no idea there was a DMC anime. It wouldn't air here though.

I'm getting the PC version, since I'll probably be able to run it at least as well as the 360 version at a higher resolution. Assuming it comes out around the console release (in the UK), some sites seem to be unsure on that :/

I don't own a PS3 or a 360, and my PC doesn't have even a DVD driver, so I won't have a chance of playing DMC 4.
