has anyone ever played one? eg:
a group had made a game where u are inside a human body and you have to fight the cancer using chemo and if u don't use the chemo properly the cancer comes back. it was made to teach the younger patients about cancer and what was happening inside them. the hospital using the program found that more kids stuck to the treatment when they had the game to play then when they did not have the game. (i think it was a hospital in sydney)

another example is politics: PETA had made a little web game that is just a ripoff of mario with different music and a chicken as the main character, there is blood all over the place and it is really creepy, u just find information about KFC's treatment of chickens.i remember seeing it once

i watched a little thing on this topic on a gaming show on TV called good game a while back, it was interesting.

I suppose its a good idea, but I think I'll just stick with the mindlessly fun ones. Serious Sam rocks. But I did hear about some game a while ago that they were gonna use for Biofeedback which sounded kinda interesting.

This is the game you're talking about:

I always love games with a substantial storyline.

Has anyone played Bioshock?

That game really hit me hard. In that game, you have to choose between valuing human life or greed and lust for power. Of course, I would ALWAYS make sure I preserve human life. The good ending is VERY heartwarming.

Those games sound cool. They should make a game about what it's like to live with AS. :)

I think the first(probably not)games to try to get a point across to their consumers was the oddworld series

I've been meaning to try out Mass Effect... Might try Bioshock, too.

Mass Effect is a good game and Bioshock is good, too. The latter is really dark and very dystopian, but it makes you feel and the Little Sisters are SO adorable. Mass Effect has a great story to it and it is a very long game and it can also be pretty difficult.

Awesomeness. I'm already in a bit of a SSB craze, and I've got Mass Effect more readily available, but dystopian storylines own, so I'll definitely check Bioshock later on.
