Currently playing a 15 pally, Bloodelf. Nope, is his name. I have played a number of others on both sides, but I like Horde better for it's character.

I have 3 horde 70's (warlock (started playing him before all the OP whining began), druid (ditto), and paladin). I'm two weeks clean of the game and good riddance. One of my therapists mentioned that 30% of failures at the local university were caused by this game.

I used to play. I have a 70 rogue and 70 priest. I raided at 60 on the priest: MC and ZG. I raided on the rogue: Kara, Gruul, Mag, SSC, TK. I loved keeping up to date with the latest PvE theory and helping my guildmates become better players.

I haven't logged in for 2 months but I still get the pangs to come back to this game. :O

The PC games industry was found dead in the basement of its parents' home earlier today. Police believe that it had been dead for at least a year, but the parents had failed to notice because they were too busy playing World of Warcraft. Charges have been laid.

Meanwhile, Warcraft has been declared an official religion in the United States. A Blizzard spokesperson said, "Scientology ain't got nothing on us. We have ten million devoted followers worldwide who are willing to lay down their jobs, their sanity, even their lives for a few more minutes in front of the Blessed Game."

- Imaginings of a recovered WoW addict.

Online games cost money, so no.

I didn't notice OP (which means 'original poster') whining in the slightest.

"I'm lonely. Why won't anyone play with me? You said you would. I told you to do it! Why can't you give anything effort! blah blah" That is whining, and OP didn't do it.

Lienda.. he doesn't mean OP as in original poster. He means Over Powered. A lot of wow players believe that warlocks are currently "over powered". (No comments on my feelings.) This poster is reassuring us that he choose a warlock before they got a reputation for being over powered, in an attempt to establish his cred with us WPers and in order to preemptively deflect any criticisms like "You only made a warlock because it's overpowered!".

I'm not sure why.. who wouldn't want to be a powerful character? ;)

Yeah, OP = overpowered in wowspeak. I don't really need to establish my cred though viska as A. I didn't make claims of doing any hardcore raiding B. I have, for all intents and purposes, quit playing, and C. I don't really care what insecure individuals with eggshell egos on the Internetz think of me. The reason I mentioned it is because you see so many FotM (flavour of the month) warlocks who rolled to own it up in PvP.

I am playing Lonera again. Some other player gave me an emotional black eye last night. I deleted 'Nope', just like ALL the others I waisted time on. :( I told a joke, with "joke" on the end, so they would know it's a joke. Noooo. They have to get in my face, and run away as if I was some $#W% pervert or #@$% infront of who knows how many people! "sorry' wasn't enough for the three trolls (not the race mind you) either.

OMG that @%$ hurt! The humiliation! They must need reading lessons. Everytime I start enjoying a character someone gets in my face.

I liked WOW and most MMORPGs, but they make me feel lonely when I play them because I wont join any groups. Ive given up joining groups because the banter leaves me bored and people want to use voice now anyway which I dont.

I become too obsessive for normal people and will fight constantly and try make people hurry up to the next fight which they dont like. All I want to do is achieve the mission in the quickest most efficient way possible and I dont even ask for much of the rewards. I will usually let others take what they want/need before my own needs.

I might play it again if there was someone I could play with like me who has a lot of time too. Otherwise I just end up being alone and unable to kill things that need a group of people.
