I loved the first two but I hated the third. Anyone else feel the same?

To me it was because the whole added dimension killed what I liked about the first two and it reminded me of EA's terrible ripoff Sim-Coaster. And Chris Sawyer wasn't as involved. I only had it for a week and returned it to the store. This is probably why RCT2 has more of a dedicated fanbase.

I remember back when my computer didn't have the net, but my dad had dial-up (only four or five years ago), I used to download fan-made parks for RCT1 of like Walt Disney World and Knott's Berry Farm (down to the letter, too) and on RCT2 (which I wouldn't acquire for two years after I bought the first), I made (but never posted) a recreation of my old, now gone local amusement park Rocky Point (memories....).

I like RCT2 more (there were a few things that I liked more about RCT1, that it was a bit more simpler and didn't have as many bugs first time out. despite the fact 2 was almost the same game)

I love RCT1, but my current computer can't handle the program :(:(:(

I'll have to do with Thrillville 1 and 2 for my PS2. I love that I can ride the roller coasters, but it's not quite the same as RCT.

I've been with RCT since the beginning, though I haven't touched the third one. I even have a website (www.extremerct.com) that's been online since early 1999, although I haven't updated it in a long time.

I've been able to do some cool stuff (using trainers) with the game that Sawyer didn't intend for it to do, such as making rides that mirrored those in real life (X-car coasters and other rides with vertical lifts, fast flumes, Intamin first gen free-falls, etc.)

Awesome games, so many hours wasted on them.

I like RCT3 the best because I can ride my rides, but it doesn't have that classic RCT feeling that the originals had.

i like the first one the most because it is easy to build a good coaster every time, when i brought some of my designs into 3 though they were broken or wouldn't go around even once.

but the amount of new stuff in 3 defenitly makes it desent and i love making firework displays, but coaster building is harder to get right i wind up making them to intense for my riders and they don't have the guts to ride.

but 1 doesn't have the coaster cam.
