I saw it recently and thought it was the biggest piece of advertising crap for a video game that I've ever seen. That includes that awful Captain N cartoon.

Apologies to any aspies on here who somehow identify with the kid in the movie.

I haven't seen it, but the Angry Video Game Nerd reviewed it in his new video along with Super Mario Bros. 3

I watched it when it was first released on DVD a couple years ago. I think its a pretty good movie because it shows a lot of different NES games. No other movie is like that right?

I loved it when I saw it the first time. Recently I saw it again and had no idea what I liked about it, other than the fact that it had to do with video games.

I have it DVD as well. I'm a Nintendo Fan so it was a must-buy for me.

Have you seen the weird final season of Captain N? Half of it is a Super Mario World cartoon and it is also drawn differently.

The only things I really remember is it was basically a theatrical Nintendo commercial, and the little red headed girl in the movie was played by Jenny Lewis, who now plays guitar in the indie rock band Rilo Kiley (who are very, very good).

I have seen this movie a few times. The first time I saw it, it was only the games that I was interested in.

Yes. Blake Sennet is his name. They're one of the very few bands formed by actors that are of high quality (a group that includes Zooey Deschanel's She & Him, Alex Greenwald's Phantom Planet, Robert Schwartzman's Rooney and Jason Schwartzman's Coconut Records [Schwartzman also used to drum for Phantom Planet])
