overall ive had fun with the game.

i decided to rush through normal mode and save most exploration, extras and I.D. development for @CRAZY mode.

i was also intrigued by @TREVOR mode since whips are where it's at.

while playing @TREVOR mode however; it seems that there is little incentive for fighting most enemies. it seems that only bosses and enemies required to open gates are necessary. maybe it's one of those situations that a person needs to put more into it to get more out of it, but when i stop to fight some foes, i start asking myself why when i can just run past them. i can then answer myself and say to have fun, but it seems that it's not as fun without something useful coming out of it. i dont necessarily need xp or cool item drops to have fun, but if at least the enemies were actually obsticals like the olden days there would be more use fighting them. though ive only played through the 2nd boss, i don't expect this problem to change throughout the game.

weapons don't seem all that great. i might play through using knife crush and an occasional, situational stopwatch.

i can see the bosses becoming more of a challenge eventually. maybe it's worth rushing through just to challenge the bosses.

any feedback is much appreciated.

I haven't played it, but I'm a pretty big Castlevania fan. Never cared too much for all the unlockable modes in the newer games, but maybe they'll give the games a little bit of replay value when I feel like re-beating them in the future.

Dude, don't care for the unlockables? Lament of Innocence was pretty boring... except in @CRAZY where it was. Totally. Awesome.

Curse of Darkness on the other hand, was not my cup of tea.

I got tired of Castlevania once they started cranking them out almost yearly, making little effort to differentiate them.
