I just hook my PC to my TV... got a nice westinghouse 37" HD - LCD that doubles as a second monitor and my TV. :)

I tried that but it doesn't display on my tv properly, it always cuts of the bottom of the screen no matter what size i put the picture on my tv i also looked at graphic card setting but nothing on there makes a difference either, i have a 32 inch tv and Nvidia geoforce 8400 GS graphics card. dont suppose you or anyone knows how to fix this?

my only other option is to convert 100gb worth of video files to wmv, which would take absolutely ages! (it takes a long time just to convert one file) i would just re-download em but its impossible to find wmv files for download as not many people use them.

There is a wizard inside of the nvidia control panel when setting up the TV as monitor where you tell it that it is an HD TV and what version type (mine is 1080i) that is what did it for me.
