Of course, the main topic of the day is the death of Michael Jackson.

That said, does anyone remember the Moonwalker video game for the Sega Genesis and Master System?

I had a Super Nintendo back then, so i never actually played it. I would buy it for the Wii Virtual Console though, and I'm sure a ton of other people would too.

I used to play it a lot when I was little. Turning into a giant robot and blowing everything up was the highlight of the game.

With that being said, the arcade version was better.

Even though it had robots with giant phallus piston objects where you would expect a giant phallus thing to be...and they shoot it in and out when you use your "everybody dance" special attack @_@ @_@ @_@

I don't remember that in the game. Though its been awhile since I've last played it.

Also, I do remember at the end of the stage, all the kids would run up to Michael, thanking him for saving their lives, and just before the level blacks out you can see Michael opening his jacket.

The jokes write themselves.

I remember the game well, but I never thought it was particularly amazing. A bit like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, it had a short shelf-life. Still, Michael Jackson's fame was peaking around the time of the game's release, so it had some kind of wow factor.

The game is awesome! I've actually got a copy on my Mega Drive. I never get over how funny it is to make all the bad guys dance...
